The meeting was called to order at 6:00am by board President Cecil Lohr. In attendance were, Cecil Lohr, David Bittner, Tim Lesher, Phil Hoy, Dianna Dellinger, Ellen Aurand, Penny Brammer, Mike Brammer, Robert Leib, Sam Heyler, Mike Clark, Steve Kline, Cliff Day, and Michelle Wetzel.

Ellen Aurand moved to accept the HO Sargent award application from Amy Kaucher. Motion passed.

Discussion on talent competition. One competitor submitted an application but no audition tape. Ellen Aurand moved to not allow this student to perform in accordance with the policy set by the Board of Directors. Motion passed.

Discussion on dress code for all talent competitors. Steve Kline moved that all talent participants are to wear Official Dress on their audition tape, during practices, and also on stage at the convention. No exceptions. Motion passed.

One student was disqualified for smoking. David Bittner moved to have this student disqualified and sent home as soon as possible. Team score is to be disqualified, while the other team members’ singles scores will be allowed. Motion passed.

Mr. Day reported that there are three CDE’s not ran in the state, that are offered at Nationals. He will follow policy on getting these spots filled.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:25am.
