- Create a monthly report for your school board, highlighting your chapter's activities and accomplishments.
- Invite community members to mentor student SAE's.
- Recognize student accomplishments on school announcements.
- Keep a journal of "fun" stories.
- If a student is unable to afford a FFA jacket, find a community member who would allow the student to work for a day for their jacket or if they are a first year member, apply for the Freshman FFA Alumni Jacket Scholarship.
- Make a "Happy Gram" box for your students.
- Write notes home to parents of students accomplishments-no matter how small.
- Send agriculture related lesson plans to elementary schools.
- Plan visits to your middle school to promote the FFA and Agricultural Program to the incoming Freshman
